eLect offers user friendly and intuitive toolsets to implement the benefit plan design, pricing, and plan rules, as well as the ability to coordinate M&A activity. The plan set-up “look and feel” simulates a Microsoft Windows application using a wizard-based context. This innovation significantly reduces implementation time and cost, while allowing you to be in control of the set-up process and have an immediate and clear picture of a client’s plan architecture. With eLect, there is no need to involve programmers and other technical resources.
Integral to eLect’s system architecture, Lean Six Sigma methodologies enable auditing of user input and reduce system errors, which are common in legacy software systems—and often require case-by-case analysis and intervention to correct.
eLect is a comprehensive Benefits Administration Management System delivered as a web-based solution, and therefore requires no maintenance, no in-house technical staff, and no system investments or upgrades. You can easily map your client’s existing Payroll/HRIS data from any source system to eLect with an intuitive “click from and to” tool—often enabling an entire client installation to be complete in less than four weeks! With eLect’s innovative and expandable data structure, administrators can create an unlimited amount of user-defined fields.
eLect provides secure and authenticated email communications between the administrator and the employee to protect confidential and sensitive information. Responses are automatically replaced with a dynamically generated URL, which redirects the recipient to a secure message center where they can retrieve the response, similar to online banking systems. There, the user is authenticated before they can view their messages.
You or your client can easily create and manage all employee web content and target specific groups/users with various types of communications, including web pages, documents and forms. eLect also has the ability to track and manage multiple versions of a single instance of content. This versioning feature allows you to control when content can be published on the web site by simply selecting a date, now or in the future.
Roles are defined by the administrator, and are comprised of allowable edit/query views and processes (Implementation, Content Management, Administration, etc.) rather than limiting roles by views only. Users can be assigned to one or many roles. This offers the ultimate flexibility in the design and delivery of your benefits administration model for each client, which is impossible with legacy software system.
The eLect Database Sync Web Service allows licensees to easily facilitate automated imports/exports and ensure accurate data synchronization between the eLect benefit system and their own internal databases.
